Nepal Hapkido Association

The Nepal Hapkido Association (NHA) is the official governing body for Hapkido in Nepal. Established to promote and regulate the practice of this Korean martial art, the association has played a crucial role in expanding Hapkido across the country.

 

Founded under the leadership of Grand Master Kali Bahadur Gharti Magar in 2008, the association has successfully spread Hapkido to all 7 provinces and 65 districts of Nepal. It focuses on self-defense, discipline, and physical fitness, making it popular among youth, security forces, and martial arts enthusiasts.

 

The National Sports Council (NSC) of Nepal has officially recognized the Nepal Hapkido Association, strengthening its legitimacy in the country’s sports community. Through training programs, tournaments, and community initiatives, NHA has contributed to personal empowerment and Nepal’s growing presence in international sports.
